The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.— Romans 8:19
During the time between the first coming of Jesus and his second coming (the last day), Paul teaches that the whole creation is eagerly longing for Jesus’ return, groaning like a woman in labour pains. Phillips translates this, “The whole creation is standing on tiptoe, eagerly awaiting the revelation of the sons of God.” Could you picture it? The world is craning the neck, looking on with a visible sense of anticipation that something is about to happen. It is eagerly awaiting this remarkable event (the sons of God to be revealed), toward which the world is hastening, and has been hastening, since the beginning of time. Amazing!
19 The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. 22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.
That day, we will hear Jesus say, “Behold, I make all things NEW!”
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. — Genesis 2:7 (KJV)
‘The climax of God’s creative work is the forming of Adam… The first man is FORMED by God …, and he not only formed Adam, but also he FILLED him. He breathed into Adam’s nostrils. God’s life-force entered Adam, making him a LIVING, SPEAKING SOUL. This shows that the breath that God breathed had spiritual as well as physical POWER. It wasn’t just for human existence on the earth; it was also for INTIMATE COMMUNION with God… Adam was created by God in a unique and intimate way.
When Adam came to consiousness, he was FACE TO FACE with HIS FATHER.’
It was such a magic moment: Adam was formed of the mud, he was dead but God breathed into him, it filled him and he was alive. The power of God’s breath gave us life and we became a living soul.
How wonderful and beautiful the moment is that: when we are able to be face to face with God, and He looked into our eyes with the deepest love, we can also look into his and say it in our heart that how much we have appreciated him.
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. — Genesis 1:1 (KJV)
‘ The Bible starts with “In the beginning God created…” God created the heavens and earth from nothing. The universe had a beginning. God created all things in order to prepare a HOME for human beings to inhabit, a place in which he could be our FATHER and we could be his CHILDREN. God created the universe and planted earth out of LOVE and FOR LOVE. Creation out of nothing is a supreme miracle and an extraordinary gift. It Marks the start of the love story of the Bible.’
I know there is nothing comes into existence without being created and God is the creator of all!
It means a lot to me when I think about the fact that God created the world is to make a HOME FOR ME! Moreover, he has created the BEST of everything in this home to enable me to have an abundant life.
