The 77th day – A day to remember
Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” — John 20:17
This is also a day to remember for our study in 100 verse bible. Because it is about the day that Jesus comes back to life, known as ‘The resurrection of Jesus”. With the exciting resurrection, it’s as if the world has began again. Please find out the full story in this video below;
Today’s verse comes out when Mary Magdalene is overjoyed as she meets Jesus outside the tomb, she tries to embrace Jesus, but Jesus tells her to stop holding on him. He has a much more important task for her: proclaiming the resurrection to her brothers.
At that point, everything has changed in the relationship between men and God. Started from the fallen of mankind, we had been fatherless for thousands of years. God has given his standards of being worth in his kingdom through the laws and regulations, through which we know that no man reach those standards because all have sinned and fall short in the presence of God. But at that time, Jesus’s mission has completed, his father has become our father, his God has become our God. This is a remarkable victory over the devil. We had been orphans for thousands of years, but from that time on, we are restored the sonship from orphan status. Praise God
He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. — Roman 4:25
