The 35th day – God’s love

When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son.       — Hosea 11:1 (NIV)

God’s Love for Israel
1 “When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son.
2 But the more they were called, the more they went away from me.
They sacrificed to the Baals and they burned incense to images.
3 It was I who taught Ephraim to walk, taking them by the arms;  but they did not realize, it was I who healed them.
4 I led them with cords of human kindness, with ties of love. To them I was like one who lifts a little child to the cheek, and I bent down to feed them.

(Hosea 11)

Hosea 11 illustrates God’s persevering love for his children – a love so strong that it continues despite rebellion, a love that leads God to restore his people after he has punished them.

In verse 1 ‘I loved him, and out of Egypt I called My son’, it show that God remembers His tender love for Israel, when more than 500 years before the time of Hosea He brought them out of Egypt.

Please have a look at this video because it is amazing!

How wonderful is his love, even while yet a sinner, even while yet rejecting him, He loves us and called us by name!

God Loves you so much!
